2 lbs xGarden LECA Expanded Clay Pebbles – Horticultural Grade for Soil Hydroponics Aquaponics – $9 amazon — this is your plant medium that props the plant inside the net cup, it helps the plant sit up straight inside the net cup.

Grodan A-OK 1″x1″ Sheet of 200 Rockwool / Stonewool Starter Cubes for Cuttings, Cloning, Plant Propagation, and Seed Starting – Amazon, $13  — To make life easier, you can start your seeds using this Rockwool instead of in the dirt. (soak  in solution)

American Weigh Digital Scale, 100g  [0.01g sensitivity] – Amazon, $10 — You need to measure our the Masterblend, Calcium Nitrate (12g/5gallons) and Epson (6g/5gallons)

Hydrofarm GH1514 General Hydroponics Ph Control Kit – Amazon $18 — You need to level out the Water, make sure the PH is around (5.5-6.5)

HM Digital TDS-EZ Water Quality TDS Tester, 0-9990 ppm Measurement Range , 1 ppm Resolution, +/- 3% Readout Accuracy – Amazon $14 — Use this to make sure the PPM increases by about ~500 after adding the nutrients. The nutrients need to be added one at a time, stir and wait a few minutes.

5 Gallon Buckets (Free-ish, ask your local Restaurants, I got 8 buckets that original had Pickles in them)

I also purchased a 3″ hole saw from Lowes to cut perfect circles from the of the 5-gallon lids, this is so the net pots will sit perfectly in the secured 5-gallon bucket lid.

That is all! Good luck!
